1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your mobile number, display name, city, and password (stored securely). During normal use, we also collect listing data, chat messages, order details, and review content to operate the marketplace.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your information is used to verify your identity, display your listings and store, calculate trust scores, enable buyer-seller chat, and send order notifications. We never sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Reviews & Public Info
Your display name, city, trust score, and seller reviews are public by design — they help buyers make informed decisions. Your phone number, password, and private chat messages are never shown publicly.
4. Security Measures
All passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Firebase handles authentication with industry-standard encryption. We recommend using a strong, unique password and keeping your login details private.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your listings and reviews may be anonymized or removed according to our data retention policy. Chat history is retained for dispute resolution purposes.
